On October 16, Sino-Australian International Hotel Management Academy Third Management Council Meeting was held in 金沙乐娱. President Mr. Jin Bingxiong and Vice President Mr. Xu Yunsong, Dean of the Academy Ms. Lei Minghua, ,Chief Executive Officer of William Angliss Institute of Australia Nicholas Hunt, Director China Operations Ian Nicolson, Regional Business Development Manager Asia Quentin Derrick,Vice Dean Denzil, Angliss (Shanghai)Education Technology Co., Ltd Angela Zhaoattended the meeting. Representatives from the Department of Finance,Recruitment and Placement and International Education attended the meeting.

Representatives had a detailed discussion on the recruitment, operation, and teaching management of Sino-Australian International Hotel Management Academy. President Jin pointed out that Sino-Australian Hotel Management Academy has achieved great success through the close cooperative relations. In addition, he emphasized the importance and necessity of conducting investigation on graduates’career development. The academy should not only be suited to the situation in China, but also be equipped with Australian characteristics. Teachers in 金沙乐娱 should fully adopt the advanced teaching concepts and methods in Australian, so as to promote the development of other majors.

Through the third council meeting, the two parties reached an agreement on exploring study tour, improving supervision system, increasing the number of bilingual teaching materials,detailing scholarship items, and conducting investigation on graduates’career development.
