On June 25, the 4th World Chefs’ Art Festival, sponsored by the World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry, opened in Qingdao International Conference Center. The Culinary Arts Department of our college won two awards in the festival, namely "2019 Culinary Culture Dissemination Award" and "2019 Culinary Education Achievement Award".
The theme of this festival is "Kungfu &Ingenuity", exchanging international frontier cooking technology concepts, displaying the unique charm of Chinese catering culture, enhancing the core competitiveness of catering enterprises and brand influence. More than 1,000 international chefs and masters from more than 40 countries and regions gathered in Qingdao to carry out thematic activities such as cooking competitions, industry summits, forums and stage art exhibitions, jointly participated in the global cultural industry feast.
At the award ceremony, 10 awards were presented, including Best Chinese Catering Association, Chinese Service Star, Best CateringSocial Media Award in 2019. For the fourth time, our college has won the 2019 Culinary Culture Dissemination Awardand2019 Culinary Education Achievement Award. This is a full affirmation of the leading advantages of Culinary Arts Department in the field of culinary education.
The World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry is a worldwide Chinese food promotion organization approved by the Chinese Government in 1991. It is composed of enterprises, institutions, social organizations and individuals from various countries and regions around the world who engage in Chinese catering activities, Chinese food education research, Chinese food management consultation and catering-related industries.
