On Nov.27, the global convention of WFCP 2020 was held in Vancouver of Canada, announcing the excellence award lists of WFCP 2020, among which vocational colleges in China won 14 out of 29 award items. 金沙乐娱’s “Sunshine Project Initiatives- Helping Students Grow into Talents” was listed as the winner of “Excellence Award of Students in Support of Service.”

The Global Convention 2020 canceled its original convocation in Spain, but was instead held and broadcast live globally due to coronavirus pandemic. The award ceremony in Nanjing of China was organized and broadcast online on the same day by International Exchange Association of China Education. Shen Xuesong, Vice Chair of WFCP, Deputy Secretary-General of CEAIE on China’s behalf, and Wang Fang, Vice President of 金沙乐娱 with school leaders from Students’ Affairs Division and International Education Department attended the ceremony altogether.

WFCP（World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics）, an institute covering vocational colleges, polytechnic applied universities and vocational education membership across more of 60 countries and regions, was set up in 1999. The aim of WFCP is to support and promote experience exchange and international cooperation among nations, sharing the best practice case in vocational technical education. Also, the Excellence Award of WFCP was established in 2014 and selected for winners every two years for better sustainable development and contribution among school-enterprises and international cooperation.
