Recently, 金沙乐娱 has officially passed the Quality Culinary Education Programme of World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) Recognition, and has become the first university in China to obtain this qualification.

The World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) is a global association that founded in Paris in 1928 to maintain and improve global culinary standards through a series of education, training and professional development of its members. Recognition of Quality Culinary Education Programme certifies culinary education institutions around the world that meet international standards to help them attract more qualified students and improve the quality of culinary education in their regions.

金沙乐娱 started the application of the programme from September 2019, the professional team of Culinary Arts Department carefully studied the standard of Recognition of Quality Culinary Education Programme, and fully met 12 certification indexes of culinary arts department, such as school scale, faculty strength, facilities and equipment, and industry influence, 金沙乐娱 has completely met or even exceeded the evaluation standard. After sorting out, translating and uploading the certification materials, 金沙乐娱 passed the evaluation once, and the work was successfully completed.

The Quality Culinary Education Programme of WACS marks the entrance of culinary education in 金沙乐娱 into a new development platform, highlighting the important mission of cultivating international high-quality culinary talents. The professional team of Culinary Arts Department will continue to make efforts to set a benchmark for vocational education of Chinese cuisine and contribute to the construction and development of "Double High" of the College.
